Jesus Cardenas, CPA, is a Partner with specialized expertise in planning and risk assessment, internal controls, financial reporting, state and federal compliance, bond audits, conversion entries, and audit reporting. With six years of public accounting experience and a CPA license, he has focused his career on school district audits and has developed extensive knowledge in overseeing complex educational audit engagements.

Jesus has served as the lead auditor for major districts including Kern High School District, Modesto City Schools, Compton Unified School District, and Saddleback Valley Unified School District. In these roles, he directed full audit cycles that included compliance testing, bond audits, and financial reporting, consistently ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. He has also served as a technical lead and in-charge auditor across multiple engagements, helping drive quality control and operational efficiency in school district audits. Jesus brings strong leadership and technical expertise to every engagement, ensuring clients receive high-quality, accurate, and compliant audits that promote accountability and trust in public education finance.

Outside of work, he actively participates in CASBO events and proudly passed all four sections of the CPA exam on his first attempt.
